WELCOME TO TRINITY
LUTHERAN CHURCH WEBSITE! Trinity exists
to receive and share God’s gifts. God’s
people are at Liturgy every Sunday. Here,
God gives His people all He has.
WEDDING BELLS. Nellie Sanders and
Miguel Garrison (our newest adult members)
are getting married on August 20 at 11AM or
12Noon. Put the date aside and plan to come
to the Liturgy.
TRINITY APPROVED OUR REVISED CONSTITUTION
AND BYLAWS! It has been submitted to
the Atlantic District Constitution Committee
for final review. Congratulations to the
Council for their outstanding work.
YOUTH CLEAN UP PARTIES. Rosemarie
Venero-Schenkel is organizing youth clean
days once a month to help keep our parking
lot clean. If you are interested or know
others who are, please speak with her.
AUGUST 15 RECEPTION FOR DEACON GONZALEZ.
August 15 will be Deacon’s last Sunday with
us (for a little while, until…well….!!!!).
We are having a reception for him after the
Liturgy that day. Please plan to attend.
If you are interested in helping or
contributing, please speak with Renea Smith
and Marilyn Heinrich. Contributions of
money, drinks, sides and deserts will be
welcomed.
SUPPLIES. As we continue to grow and
use materials for fellowship, cleaning and
the like, we are asking you to communicate
with Renea Smith. She will coordinate with
Rosemarie Venero-Schenkel about how they
will purchase things from BJs and other
stores so that we always have plates,
napkins, soap and the like. Both of them
have mailboxes in the hallway, so a note
will work well if you cannot speak with
them. Thanks be to God for these two
servants!
LWML RECYCLING FUNDRAISER PROJECT.
Do something good for the environment…and
help the LWML (Lutheran Women’s Missionary
League—Lutheran Women in Mission) raise
funds for its 2013 LWML Convention which
will be held in Pittsburgh. It will be
sponsored jointly by the 2013 Coalition LWML
Districts (Atlantic, Eastern, English, New
England, New Jersey, SELC). To raise funds
to cover expenses, these districts are
sponsoring, “Ready, Set, Recycle!” We invite
all members of our congregation to bring the
following recyclable items to the narthex.
The following are being collected:
Empty inkjet printer cartridges, empty laser
printer cartridges, used cell phones, PDAs
(Palm Pilots, DVD Players, I-pods, MP3
Players, digital cameras, laptops, GPS
systems (including power cords).
The LWML will collect them and redeem them
for cash to pay for convention expenses. If
you have questions, please contact Deaconess
Rojas.
